Packing Suggestions:
We would suggest a suitable-sized box or bubble-pack envelope at the very least for packaging. Plain or kraft envelopes have been known to tear and we have received envelopes missing rolls of film or worse, empty envelopes.
Shipping Methods:
We recommend USPS Express or Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation or FedEx Express or Ground. At this time we have had no problems with unexposed film being shipped by any method. The postal service has said that sometimes they x-ray packages, but we have not seen any evidence of that so far. In the winter, time in transit is not an issue. In the full heat of summer, we would suggest no more than 2 days in transit and some insulating packaging. We do not recommend UPS in the summer as those brown trucks hold a lot of heat and we generally do not receive our shipments from them until late afternoon.
Return Shipping:
Return shipping can be chosen and calculated on our order forms. We try to keep the prices as reasonable as possible. To offset the costs of shipping, mail-order customers receive a reduced rate on film processing. Processing orders received by mail usually ship the next business day after receipt; duplicate orders normally take 3 business days.
